#Oceans

We hacked a fun solution to fundraise for Oceans’ most pressing challenges.

Ocean Day - Plastic Day - Climate Week

June 8-July 26: An Epic one-team hack to inspire donors and save our Oceans from plastics!

The team leveraged Art + 3D/VR/Gaming/AI to inspire donations for Ocean preservation this summer, when everyone is at the beach!

Turn Artworks into Icons for Causes

A new kind of hackathon in line with the UNESCO Ocean Decade.

With the support of leading organizations like Unity (3D game engines), Green Earth Carbon Solutions (Carbon Credit Platform), 3rd Culture Creative (Artist production), GenHax (the Growth Marketplace), Piosh (NFT-based certification), and select artists from the “Art to Save the Planet” exhibit (At the Oculus, NYC, April 2024).

$10,000

Inspired by UNESCO’s Ocean Decade themes, we want to fund the following organizations:

Think twice before dropping plastic in the Ocean…

The most amazing team

Launched in a rush, we got close to zero participants. 🌟 Then Lewis, Grant, Tina, Yizzar and others made it all possible. 🌈

Not only they developed a game with no supervision and very limited experience, but they went on to produced a finished game for 4 more weeks than anticipated!

Lewis became team lead after he consistently showed up in our initial onboarding and mentor events, when no one else did. One person can save the game, litteraly!

Share the news with friends

Feel free to share this short video with anyone who might want to help raise funds:

  • Anyone you know who likes a fun game and doesn’t like to pollute.

  • Tech Artists, 3D Designers, Game developers

  • Other designers and technologists,

  • Nonprofit employees who’d like to support

We can all be Oceans’ ambassadors.
